About me
My Story
I’ve always been a daydreamer. Imagining music videos or sci-fi scenarios in my head while listening to music or reading a book is an everyday thing for me. I usually find myself stopping mid-page just to complete the storyline in my head that the book inspired.
Over the years I found myself yearning for a way to communicate these ideas and more with other people. During my freshman year of HS, I was first introduced to anime by a classmate and it left me in awe. Just the thought of working with a team of creatives to get a massage or a feeling across to an audience excites me. I am very familiar with computers, video editing, programming, and graphic design to be exact, and using these skills for storytelling has become my dream.

To pursue this interest, I took various online courses such as Design and Communication from CalArts on Coursera, AR for Snapchat lenses on Openlearning, Storytelling on Khan Academy by Pixar, 2D Animation by Adobe After Effects, and 3D Animation using Blender from Udemy. I also tried to make my animations, mostly gifs to get a feel of what it means to create something. Once I felt that creative satisfaction, it became an endeavor to explore the media arts more. Animations always leave me in awe, so what else I could do, but to work hard to do the job I admire the most.

Artist Statement

My parents were disappointed when I announced I wanted to study art. Maybe it could end with me I thought: the generations of monotone and hypnosis that buried self-expression and creativity 6-feet-underneath.
I had failed to make them see my passion at first; however, their first reaction to a drawing of mine proved that people could be moved if reached correctly. It’s inspiring, how a communication problem is essentially a lack of empathy, so to elicit empathy through my art and impress and inspire people has become my ultimate desire.
Take a look around and enjoy!
