Maya nCloth Process
  • Model Preparation clean and optimize the mesh topology for simulation, freeze transformations and delete history.

  • Setup Colliders set passive colliders, Assign appropriate collision properties and increase collision thickness if necessary

  • Create nCloth Object apply presets or customize physical attributes

  •  Constraints 

  • Simulation Testing run test simulations, check for intersections and unnatural behavior, adjust solver settings like substeps, iterations for accuracy and stability.

  • Review & Iterate
  • Cache Simulation import caches into a clean scene without the removing temporary nodes and unused meshes.​

  • Finalizing use blendshapes, deformers or animpolish to sculpt details or acheive stylization goals
